Following a joynews report on the plight of a family that shares one school uniform due to the impoverished situation they find themselves, many kind-hearted people have donated various items to the family to help alleviate their plight.

The story of the Badu family, which came to light in September, depicted how they couldn’t afford three square meals aside lacking educational materials because their mother was jobless and their father had kicked the bucket.

On the back of this, Ghanaian musician Kwame Asare Obeng popularly known as A Plus has come to the aid of the poor family resident in Adansi Fumso in the Ashanti region by setting up a business outfit for the mother of two in order to be able to take care of her two girls who were struggling to feed, as well as sharing one school uniform.

He undertook this act of generosity with support from Ghanaweb.com, Big Heart Foundation, and some individuals to put smiles on the faces of the Badu family.

According to him (A Plus) they ensured that the shop was well stocked and the best to be found in the town.

“We donated a deep freezer and made sure her shop was the "Melcom" of Adansi Fumso by stocking it to the fullest before we left,” he wrote on his Facebook page.

Nhyira FM also built a shop for the family, and donated some items to the mother for business startup.
