Comedian and musician, Kwame Asare Obeng popularly known as A Plus has come to the rescue of a 15-year-old boy who is in urgent need of funds for a surgery and a prosthetic leg after he was hit by a reckless driver two years ago.

The boy, known as Prince, was knocked down by a drunk driver that led to the amputation of his right leg.

A Plus revealed that Prince needs help because he's still growing and his leg bone keeps coming out of the flesh.

Speaking on various negative effects the incident has had on Prince, A Plus said aside effect it has on his education; the accident has affected Prince psychologically and emotionally, thus having a new prosthetic will bring him joy.

“An urgent surgery is needed to fix a new prosthetic which should be done periodically. The total amount needed is 7000 Ghana cedis,” he said.

Briefing GhanaWeb on the funds raising, A Plus said Ghanaians have been of great help: “Ghanaians have been responding well to the humanitarian call, they support what is good and have come to understand what I do,” he added.

A Plus convincing the Ghanaian public to sacrifice their widow’s mite also urged his 30,000 plus followers on social media to contribute in making Prince’s life better.

“Even if my 30,000 followers on Facebook contribute Ghc 1, it will go a long way in solving little Prince problem,” he added.
