The musician turn politician, controversial Hiplife musician Kwame Asare-Obeng popular known as A-Plus is at it again. This time around going beyond the shores of Ghana, attacking as usual some corrupt former Presidents of the continent in what he calls atrocities, wars, pains and abject poverty on the very people who put them where they are now. Watch Video: A Letter To The West by A Plus

He calls this one; “A Letter To The West” with picturesque first ever video of the crusader, depicting some of the horrible scenes from some of the senseless wars. “Already the video has been picked by BBC and other international broadcasting networks to be shown on their network. The video is currently receiving lots of viewership on youtube.com and that’s enough motivation”; he told Weekly Fylla.

In his latest album, “A Letter To The West”, he lashes at corrupt governments and presidents for not doing enough for their people but to siphon them for their selfish gains.  He deployed the attitude of some of the former Presidents such as Idi Amin, Mobutu, Charles Taylor among others for their devilish practices when they where in the reins of affairs of their countries causing mayhem and atrocities.

He asked whether there is any justification and sense in the war in the once beautiful and peaceful country like La Cote D’voire.  He deployed the negative attitude of President Robert Mugabe of what is currently happening in Zimbabwe. “The old man is tired and he doesn’t even believe in his future let alone the opposition. If he can’t hand over power to anybody in his cabinet than what he’s taken his people through is enough;” he added.

I must congratulate the young man for taking his crusade to the rest of the world especially corrupt African leaders, who upon all the fight against atrocities and anti-corruption they are bent on doing what their conscience tell them but one day they will account for their stewardship.

As for the video, the quality and scenic techniques is superb, trust my good pal Ogee of Phamous People fame to rattle it the way you want it. Good expression and thoughts from the Northern Region is well represented, showcasing Ghana in a more culturist manner. Well done A Plus!!!
