A Sneak Peak Into NJ’s Full Figured Fashion Week

New Jersey’s Full Figured Fashion Week’s “Sneak Peek” July 15th through July 17th 2011 at various Essex County locations, including The Wilshire Grand Hotel, The Richfield Regency, and The Livingston Mall.

Leading up to New Jersey’s Full Figured Fashion Week, the “Sneak Peek”, where fashion meets music, is meant to shine light on the beauty, soul, and spirit of the plus-size fashion community. These events are a way to educate and empower full-figured woman to admire and embrace their curves and love for fashion.

“Everyday you look at the media and see size zero models representing what woman should look like, yet most people will never be healthy at that size,” says Paula Michelle, CEO of Nfinite Form. “We want to allow women to feel beautiful and healthy at the size they were meant to be. By having these events we are illuminating the glamour and esteem of a full figured woman!”

In the interest of treating every person like a celebrity, Full Figured Fashion Friday on July 15th 8pm, at Wilshire Grand Hotel’s The Loft in West Orange will give an opportunity for guests to walk the red carpet with paparazzi and media. Celebrity guests will include Comedian Drew Fraser, New Jersey’s own Kenny Bobien, Hip Hop Artist Chubb Rock, 100% Lisa Lisa, and 98.7 Kiss FM DJ Red Alert. Make sure to dress your best! Saturday July 16th at 8pm will give guests a chance to come out and “talk shop” with the best of the best in the full size community. The Full Size Networking Mixer and Fashion Showcase will be held at The Richfield Regency in Verona. With charismatic Host Ralph McDaniels of the Video Music Box, Co- Host Cherry Martinez of Power 105.1 and performances by Meli’sa Morgan and Carl Thomas the night is sure to be an event to remember. Guest Speaker for the night will be Jerseylicious star Doria Pagnotta from Gatsby Salon. Ending “Sneak Peek” on a high note, the Full Size Modeling Competition will feature the area’s expertly chosen full figured models strutting their stuff down the runway. Lenny Green, the voice of 98.7 Kiss FM will be hosting this modeling competition at Livingston Mall on July 17th at noon, which will be an exclusive look into what can be expected from Full Figured Fashion Week in September. The Competition winner will have the honor of receiving the coveted Kim B The Glamazon Runway Trophy, $1000 cash and will become the face of New Jersey Full Figured Fashion Week 2011-2012 in September.
