A book on Marriage to be launched in NY

New talents are being exposed constantly in New York in the Gospel music industry as Ghanaians are constantly invited to many gosel music album launchings. Among the new talents on the music scene are; Sister Charlotte aka The Gospel Princess, Nana B and Christian Gyamfi who is also about to launch his debut CD.

One Powerful woman of God with a music talent is about to "explode" in the industry as well as churches. She had shared the stage with Prophet Seth Frimpong, Suzie & Matt, Yaw Sarpong, Felicity Amoah & Joe Mens, Pastor Joe Beecham during Gospelfest 2004. She is popularly known as (Naana), Joyce Ohene-Amoah. This time around, she is not launching a music album but a book on marriage entitled; "Building A Healthy Lasting Marriage". The launching is taking place on September 6th, 2008, 6:30 pm-10:30pm at the sanctuary of BBT, 1877 Bathgate Ave, Bronx, NY, 10457 its notable overseer is the powerful man of God; Rev. Adu Gyamfi.

The Description of the Book

Marriage is a blessing from God and it requires a person to be moral. Before getting married one must be old enough to know what is right and what is wrong. He or she must be willing to live a life that follows what is right.

Before getting married a man should be willing to give up living in a manner that is not right before God, a woman should be willing to give up any sinful behavior. Two are better than one for they can help each other in succeeding. In marriage,when one person falls, the other can reach out and help. When you fall alone you need someone to give you a helping hand. When a man and a woman lie down together, they can keep each other warm. But how can one be alone. Ecclesiastes 4:9-11 For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together let no man separate." Matthew 19: 5-6 , Having made us male and female, God instituted marriage for the proper expression and exploration of our masculinity and femininity. To enjoy marriage as God intended we must live it as He instructed. This is the way to bring gladness to our hearts and glory to our God.

This is God's plan for marriage. It is so simple, yet so many take for granted the very covenant that is made with God on the marriage day. The words of love are said over and over as thousands upon thousands stand before God pledging their love to one another. May God help us to have better marriages and better families to honor and glorifying Him.

Joyce is a student of Tripp Bible Institute (TBI) and is married to a noble and God fearing Man called Mr. Agyemang Bonsu. She is a Medical Assistant by profession. she is a lady with a heart of a mother and has a servant leader characteristic. She is also the founder and president of Youth Redeemers Inc. (An organization for Christian Youth and Young Adults). She has the call of God upon her life as an Evangelist, a prophetess, a life coach, a Counselor and also she has been called to use her life experiences in bringing the youth and young adults to the Lord. She is the founder and mentor of group of girls and young women called Ladies of Virtue. In this group she prepares them how to become Women of Substance and also how to wait on God for their call into marriage.
