Canadian-based Ghanaian gospel singer, Kwaku Gyasi has hinted of returning to Ghana to revive his ‘dead’ career, a decade after leaving the country to resettle abroad.

Kwaku Gyasi to the surprise of many left the shores of Ghana at the peak of his career for unknown reasons, after which he was never heard of again until his recent media appearance.

Speaking to Doctor Cann on Happy FM, the once famous singer revealed that the reason for his recent return to Ghana was to partake in a gospel concert this August.

He, however, went on to reveal that, he has plans of coming back to resettle in Ghana in an attempt to revive his career.

Quizzed as to why he left the country in the first place, the veteran gospel singer refused to answer the question explaining that it was for personal reasons but Asembi.com has gathered he was in Ghana for Canadian residency.

Kwaku Gyasi was one of the biggest musicians in Ghana in the early and mid-2000s with numerous top charting singles such as Ayeyi.

However, around 2009, the singer disappeared from the music scene and resettled in Canada, a decision which hurt his career very much as his career faded into oblivion while staying in Canada.
