The President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Obour has said music in general is a profession someone chooses to pursue in his or her life.
According to Him, there is nothing wrong with a musician composing a song for a political party since it’s their profession. He explained that a musician can compose songs for different political parties since it's work.
Obour made the statement Friday when MUSIGA organized a peace walk to support peaceful and credible election on December 7.
The theme for the event was , "The Role of Music in Promoting Peaceful and Credible Elections."
The walk started from the EFua Sutherland Park through some principal streets of Accra and back to the starting point.
He also entreated the youth to be extra careful and not to be used by some politicians to create any election violence because we have only one Ghana.
