ANOTHER ROCKSTONE BREAKS INTO SHOWBIZ

The next time you hear a Rockstone name, it might not be the Grandpapa of Hip life nor have anything to do with music. Keita Ossei is a new entry into mainstream showbiz coming from a background of renowned showbiz personalities. Keita is son to ace fashion designer and hip life pioneer, the late Ricci Ossei and brother to the god father of hip life Reggie Rockstone.

The new kid on the block seems to follow in the footsteps of his father and drift off music in the time being, as he delves into the industry as a model, to the amusement of many who thought that any addition to the industry from the Ossei family would be a musician.

He spoke to Quame Junior and had this to say “I went into modeling because that is what I have always wanted to do and more so it is a legacy my father left as one of the first designers to bless our country.

I have always been around people with a fashion consciousness, even my big brother Rockstone is a designer. He was part of the designers during the Ghana Fashion Weekend, so this is what I have wanted and that is why I am doing it”. In an industry where it takes more than wits and glamour to excel, the question is what extra factor compliments this new entry into the industry. He has this to say “I guess only time would tell, but I have been here long enough and I have seen it done time and time again and I know I would make it”.
