The Akosombo Textiles Limited (ATL) will, tonight, hold a fashion and musical explosion dubbed ?ATL Night of Fashion? to celebrate its colours and designs.
The event which is scheduled to come off at the Miklin Hotel in Kumasi, will showcase ATL designs and also create a platform for customers of the company to exchange ideas with management. Some loyal customers of ATL will also be rewarded during the show.
Some of the nation?s top models will be on the catwalk. Sensational musicians Nana Tuffour of ?Abeiku? fame, Slim Busterr and Omanhene Pozo will entertain guests with hot and spicy songs from their repertoire.
ATL which is popular for its youth-oriented designs has been around for 35 years and has clothed Ghanaians and other nationals in Africa with fine wax prints. Over the years, ATL has encouraged the youth to patronise African prints, which were previously patronised by older people.
Presently, contestants in many beauty pageants held in the country are dressed in ATL fabrics. The queens in the most recognised beauty pageants, the Pleasure Miss Ghana are top fans of ATL fabrics. Many pageants organised by the various educational institutions in the country are also supported by ATL.
The ?ATL Night of Fashion? show is also expected to be held in some regional Capitals including Accra and Takoradi.
