Entertainment pundit, Vida Adutwumwaa, has criticized actor LilWin for how he and his team handled the accident that resulted in the death of a 3-year-old boy.
She pointed out that the two statements released by LilWin's management team, which failed to adequately address the incident, were misguided.
Adutwumwaa argued that LilWin's delay in offering condolences to the bereaved family and demonstrating a commitment to resolving the issue reflects a lack of common sense in managing such situations.
During an appearance on the United Showbiz programme, Adutwumwaa remarked, "This issue would not have escalated, but it seems common sense did not prevail, which is why all these issues have arisen. His management team released an initial statement responding to criticisms.
"At a time when a family had lost a child, they should have addressed the child's death and consoled the bereaved family.
She continued, "Secondly, LilWin released another statement where he prioritized the postponement of his movie premiere in Sunyani in the headline and mentioned the boy's death in the third paragraph. LilWin did not demonstrate any sensibility in the statements he released."
Meanwhile, LilWin has been taken into police custody on Monday, June 3, 2024, following his discharge from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
