‘Accra Symphony Orchestra’ to be outdoored on Easter Sunday

The ‘Accra Symphony Orchestra’ will be officially inaugurated in a grand ceremony at the ICGC Christ Temple in Obossey Okai on Sunday April 5.

The group which is the brain child of the founder of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), Dr. Mensah Otabil and the late Pan-African music genius Nana Danso Abiam aims to provide quality international standard classical music for music lovers.

Speaking to Starr News ahead of the event, the Public relations officer of the group, reverend Albert Ocran said the group thrives on excellence and aims to thrill their audience everywhere they go.

“Music provide employment, music provide a tool for expression of a nation’s culture, a nation’s identity, music is a very…all over the world, music, the arts are very key tool for providing the frame work around which society thinks, our thoughts, our philosophy are all expressed through music”.

The group performs gospel compositions, as well secular music of aesthetic value.

Rev. Ocran is optimistic that the group will represent Ghana internationally with their performances.
