Ace Musician Agyaaku Passes Away

Peacefmonline can confirm that evergreen highlife Ghanaian musician, Nana Kwaku Addai, widely known in showbiz circles as Agyaaku, has passed unto eternal glory at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.

The renowned artiste died yesterday, Tuesday September 7th after a protracted illness.

A family spokesman Kenneth Agya Appiah confirmed the death of Agyaaku to PeaceFM.

Music lovers would always remember Agyaaku’s angelie ne me voice which is very outstanding.

The musician partnered Adomako Nyamekye (musician) in the 1980’s and later went solo.

He died at the age of 64.

Some of his widely acclaimed works include hits such as:

“Emaa nyinaa te se yenua baa yi a, (Serwaa Akoto)” and “Wumami bo won a wusu, Wupapa bo wo na wusu”.
