Aspiring president of Actors guild and veteran actor – Abeiku Sagoe speaking on Pluzz FM has expressed his displeasure with a picture which has some veteran actors sitting around a table full of alcohol bottles at the late Nii Odoi Mensah’s funeral circulating on social media.
Abeiku who was called into the show by host Sammy Flex to share his thoughts on the president’s kind gesture to some aged actors took the opportunity to quickly state his position on the photo.
“I think the picture with some actors drinking to stupor at Nii’s funeral is in bad taste”. He said.
Even though he is not happy with the picture, he admits though, that those were elderly men who have the right to decide on what they want to do with their lives at a gathering.
According to Abeiku Sagoe, such photos do not paint a good picture about the actors fraternity and advised that care be taken next time round to prevent such photos from getting into the public domain.
