Adjoa Safowaa
One of the most dedicated actresses of our time, Adjoa Safowaa has been crowned with the fast rising actress award at the African Legends entertainment Awards which took place in Lagos, Nigeria at the Bespoke Event Centre on Sunday, November 27.
Adjoa Safowaa who also won the best dressed on live red carpet award beat stiff opposition from compatriots Charlotte Derban (GH)Philipa Nahas (Sierra Leone)Princess Shyngle(Gambia)Adunni Ade(Nigeria)Ophelia Klenam Dzidzornu(GH)and Juliana Olayode.(Nigeria)
Adjoa Sarfowaa was however nominated for two categories including the Fast Rising Actress and best dressed on live red carpet.
The event which was themed ‘The Chronicle” was hosted by Bryan Okwara and Ella Mensa saw Olu Jacobs and Joke Sylva honoured for their contributions to the industry.
Other Ghanaian artistes who were nominated for various categories include Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Kofi Kinata, EL,Amanzeba Nat Brew Joe Mettle and Sarkodie
The event was sponsored by Flexy Entertainment with support from Smile Global Entertainment, Ariiya Tickets and Kingsville and was dedicated to achievements in African entertainment.
Adjoa Safowaa apart from acting in numerous movies such as “Cheaters,House of Gold,Today’s Woman,Red Line ,Love N Cheat is also a TV hostess,Event MC and voice over artist as well as Panafest brand ambassador and Adonko Bitters brand Ambassador.She also won most influential student MC 2016 at the Ghana Tertiary awards.
