Actress, Gifty Temeng dies at age 56

Just when we thought the death toll on our celebrities was just enough and had died down as we rounded up the year, the movie industry has been hit with another death.

Actress, Gifty Temeng has been reported dead.

The actress, is said to have died on Wednesday December 21 at the 37 military hospital after battling with an undisclosed illness.

The 56-year-old actress was popular for her soft spoken and motherly roles in most Ghanaian movies.

She was a staunch member of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana.

The late Gifty, who has been in the movie industry for over 30 years, starred in movies like “Bitter Blessing, “Ties That Bind” and “The Will.”
