Gorgeous Ghanaian based African Promising Actress, Xandy Kamel is to be awarded for her wonderful performances in the African movie industry and her humanitarian efforts.

Speaking to Agoofmonline.com, the gleeful Actress expressed exaltation and said she is feels honoured and special to be appreciated especially in the midst of high ranked profiles. She continues; the task is Sisyphean, but such meet keeps her resolve unwieldy.

Xandy, who just arrived in the country from a movie shot in Nigerian with notable Nollywood characters, is to receive an Award by Buem Excellent Awards in the Volta Region on September, 16 at BUSEC, Togbe Akortia Hall.

The beautiful actress is rumoured to have won the 'Discovery of the year' category of the Awards.

The maiden event also dubbed, 'Heroes Award' is to honour personalities with exceptional contributions to the development of Buem Constituency and by far extension the Volta Region.

Zandra Kamel as she is known behind cameras twisted the hand of history cruelly without harm when she defied all odds to emerged triumphant as First Actress from the Region to attained such unimaginable spotlight in her career in just less than 3yrs albeit being in the game for more than a decade.

Zandra is among the few Ghanaian Actress to have starred in movies with all Nollywood and Ghallywood actors/actresses.

In her philanthropic role, she has helped a legion of school going children through her foundation, 'Kamel For Hope Foundation'.

The Foundation was formed to put smiles on the face of the less privileged, brilliant but importunate needy children and to assist the youth realised their given potentials.

Other prominent personalities to be honoured include Nana Akwasi Akuamoah VIII, Buem Traditional who is to award the 'Most Influential Personality'.

Paramount Queen, NANA ABENA APPENDEA II to receives Culture and Traditional Promotion Honour.

Rev. Dr Elias Asiama of School of Performance Arts, University of Ghana for Religious, Social and Moral Value Award.

Mercy Edith Mensah, NADMO Coordinator, Biahoye District, wins Woman of Change Award.

The Headmaster of Buem SHS, Mr. Gordon Kofi Ansah to also receives Education Award and Parke-Davis Magylore, Executive Director, Folkfine Art Organisation to be honoured Young Achievers Award.
