Afro-pop is gradually becoming the heartbeat of music in the country, with many artistes diverting into that music genre in recent years.
Ghana's afro-pop has given birth to a new act, known as "Adepa", in the music circles with her real name being Gloria Gyan.
She busted onto the music scene not long ago with her first single titled "Condem" and gained recognition as a prodigy and has been touted to make waves in the near future.
In an interview with GNA Entertainment, Adepa who signed onto the "1RMT" record label, is relishing taking dancehall and Afro-pop music to another level in the next coming years.
"I'm working towards my future of being one of the top superstars on the African continent.
"There are a couple of female artistes doing well in that space, but I am coming into the game with my own style," she said.
She added, "Ghanaians should expect something different and I urge all music loving fans to support me and I would make Ghana proud someday".
Adepa recently released her new single titled ''Holiday'' and can be downloaded across all online music platforms.
