Ghanaian actor Adjetey Anang has revealed some of his personal boundaries when it comes to selecting movie roles.
According to the 'Yolo' actor, he would not portray certain characters that would have to be in nude scenes and very graphic, intimate scenes.
Speaking in an interview on TV3 on June 26, 2024, Adjetey Anang, who has captivated audiences with his diverse performances, stated his reservations towards the idea, adding that his decision was not about the financial incentive or even a career-changing role.
"There are characters that I may not play. Somebody would play it... Nudity, nude scenes, and very graphic, intimate scenes. That's the thing. It's not about the money," he said.
Recounting an incident involving another actor who faced public scrutiny after portraying a notorious character, he explained that his decision was due to many Ghanaians not being able to distinguish between the actor and the character they play in the movie.
"And that's how serious people take it. They can't draw a line between the craft and the artist," he said.
