She said she knew a lot about Joy FM, as "I have been listening to Joy FM since its inception".
Mr Komla Dumor, Co-ordinator of the promotions, said the competition was part of the Station's desire to reward listeners for their support over the past 10 years.
"Over the past 10 years it has not been easy.... Our listeners have always been loyal and it is through such promotions that you can thoroughly reward them."
The "10,000-dollar Promotion" started on the April 6 to coincide with the date on which the station started test transmissions in 1995. Everyday 10 people called into Joy FM's Super Morning Show hosted by Mr Dumor to answer five questions. After two weeks the results were compiled and the 10 best contestants qualified for the final, which was held at Somovision at Osu in Accra.
