The multi award-winning, Ghanaian artist again together with his music friend’s Adolf Tagoe who is also known as the ‘kakalika dancer’ and Lady Talata joined OrphanAid Africa over the weekend in their YASS program in Ayenyah, a village not far from Dodowa in the Eastern region of Ghana.
The tremendous event was aimed at supporting 160 of OrphanAid Africa beneficiaries, both through the YASS program and also the younger children they support.
‘This is a 'shopping spree' where the beneficiaries can choose from our donated clothes, providing health checks, a drama on sexual abuse and another on hygiene. Aside that we also providing some training for the parents amidst a little party at the end to keep everybody especially the children happy’ Bianca Collier, the CEO of OrphanAid Africa said in a brief interview.
Speaking to Adolf Tagoe he added that these are things he love doing and wish every individual who is comfortable in life will do as well. He said it a good thing to put smiles on people’s faces and share not only materially but with your time and energy. He also urged the kids to do exactly what they are doing for them today for others when they become comfortable in life.
Both parents and children expressed their joy and excitements through dancing and screaming to the tremendous performances from the three artistes.
