An entertainment show, Adom Entertainment Hall, last Saturday turned into a state of mourning which made the host of the show, Mike2 cry profusely.
His cry followed the discussion of Daasebre Gyamena’s final funeral burial on the show when some sad revelations emerged.
Mike2 and Prince Tsegah, a panelist, together wept to mourn the late Daasebre Gyamenah upon receiving information that even his (Daasebre) paternal family in Koforidua as well as the wife did not attend the funeral which took place in the Central region over the weekend.
When Mike2 contacted Daasbre’s wife, she confirmed she did not attend the funeral.
“As am speaking with you now am at Tema, I am a Muslim and when my husband died we have had prayers for him so there is no need for me to go to the funeral grounds, all that will be needed has been done to his soul so it is left with the body for it to be buried”, she disclosed.
One sadden aspect of it was that, none of his colleague musicians attended the funeral to pay their last respect.
This and other sad information brought sadness to the host and could not hold to his tears, cried uncontrollably which also made Prince Tsegah join in.
It took Nana Adwoa Silky and Rev. Bernard Amankwa who were panelists on the show some time to console them.
Their sad moment affected many of their audience listening to the show at that time.
