It is difficult to explain why but talks started spreading weeks after Delores Frimpong Manso started airing her ‘Afia Schwarzenegger’ television series that the program’s lead character, Valentina Nana Agyeiwa aka Afia Schwarzenegger is a hard core lesbian who does not have sex with men.

But the 30-year-old lady has denied the reports and expressed utter shock at the development. “I’m a mother of ten-year-old twin boys, James Ivan and John Ivan, so can a lesbian give birth to twins? I am surprised a TV station would be using its precious airtime spreading falsehood about me that I am a lesbian. I always cry for people who are lesbians and gay. I will never become a lesbian,” Valentina noted on Happy FM.

She also revealed on the show that she is a widow who knows how pleasurable sex with a man can be so she does not see the sense in going to bed with a fellow woman.

Afia came into the limelight in February this year when the ‘Afia Schwarzenegger’ series started airing on TV.

According to Afia, acting was never part of her plans until she returned home last year from a six-year sojourn in Johannesburg, South Africa and met her childhood friend, Delay of Oman FM who is the executive producer of the ‘Afia Schwarzenegger’ TV show. Afia said she was born at Krofrom, a suburb of Kumasi, to Grace Achiaa, a businesswoman and Augustine Agyei. She started her basic education at the Ridge Experimental School and continued at Tamale Seventh Day Adventist School. She later enrolled at the KNUST Secondary School and thereafter to St Louis Girls’ School, all in Kumasi.

She enrolled at the Future Flyers Academy in Johannesburg, South Africa, for a cabin crew license programme and thereafter worked with South African Airways in Johannesburg from 2007 to 2009. She later joined Allegiance Air PTY also in Johannesburg and remained their employee until she decided to return home in October 2010.
