Controversial radio and TV presenter, Afia Schwarzenegger, has slammed Ghana’s main opposition party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for proving to Ghanaians that they are not ready for power in 2016.

The actress in a message on her social media page, instagram condemned the party’s executives for washing their dirty linen in public.

She further called on the National Security to act swiftly in the execution of their task in protecting individuals and the country at large because NPP’s actions amount to security threat.

“We will like to congratulate NPP for notifying their Party and washing their dirty linens in public proving to Ghanaians that they are not ready for power and giving us radio content. I think the national security should sit up because their actions amount to security threat,” she states.

The New Patriotic Party has received a lot of criticisms from a section of the public over the attack which led to the death of the Upper East Regional Chairman, Adams Mahama.

Mr Mahama had acid poured on him by two assailants on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 and was confirmed dead the next day, Thursday morning, at the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital.

One person has been arrested in connection with the attack.
