Mrs. Abrokwah popularly known in the showbiz industry as Afia Schwarzenegger has tasked the International Central Gospel Church to win Hiplife singer Mzbel back to Christianity.

Afia commenting on the suspension of ICGC pastor, John Laryea on Accra FM’s drive time show, hosted by Black Eye disclosed that Mzbel narrated an issue that happened to her years back when she was a member of the church.

According to her, the church called the ‘16 years’ singer a liar just because of how she presents herself in public. Speaking to Zionfelix on the ‘konkonsa’ segment on the drive show, Schwarzenegger expressed worry over the insults Ghanaians rained on Mzbel when she publicly announced months back that she is no more a Christian.

She revealed that Ghanaians did not just rebuke MzBel when she publicly denied Christ but some went ahead to malign her, Afia Schwarzenegger just because she is a friend to the singer real name Nana Akua Belinda.

Disappointed Afia said she was expecting leaders of ICGC to defend the singer when Ghanaians were crucifying her for the comment but they disowned her to fight the battle herself.

She further questioned why Mzbel would present her son to God if she did not believe in Jesus Christ at that time. To her, Mzbel was a Christian that is why she allowed pastor Josh Laryea to bless her son, Adepa after he was born so the man of God should have defended the musician when Ghanaians were lambasting her for the comment that she no more believes in Christ.

Afia Schwarzenegger further asked the church, International Central Gospel Church to publicly apologise to Mzbel because “Josh Laryea molested her and when she lodged a complain, they defended their pastor”.

“ICGC owes Mzbel an apology and prayers. They should make sure they win her back to Christ. I don’t know if they are going to pray or fast but it is their duty to make sure that Mzbel believes in Jesus Christ again” she told Zionfelix on the konkonsa segment.

The Angel TV presenter concluded that “ICGC should ask for forgiveness from God and also to make Mzbel believe that it is not all Christians who want to take advantage of you. It is very sad that we run to pastors when we are in trouble but if these pastors cannot be relied on but take advantage of us, then where should we go?”
