Afia Schwarzenegger takes up ambassador role for orphans

Controversial and bubbly TV and radio presenter, actress and comedian, Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, widely known as Afia Schwarzenegger has been appointed ambassador for orphans in Ghana.

The honour was granted her by the Association of Children's Homes and Orphanages in Ghana via a letter which she happily posted on her Facebook page with the caption: "To God be the glory ...its definitely heaven on earth...nice way to start the year.Am humbled."

After seeming acceptance of the honour, Afia Schwarzenegger, who was appointed for "her tremendous contribution to society in general and her passion for supporting the less privileged in particular", used social media to solicit for contributions to support the education of the orphans.

She appealed on Facebook: "Matthew 5:7....In our lil way let's contribute to the future of one child by supporting their education. Ketewaaa biaa ensua (No amount is lil...start from ur community now)!!!! Bless you!!!!
