In a passionate call to African youth, he charged as many as are capable to consider venturing into agriculture.
He particularly noted that the future of the continent’s economy is linked to the exploration of this sector.
“A vibrant, sustainable and resilient agriculture sector is vital for sub-Saharan Africa’s economic future. Africa is home to nearly half of the world’s uncultivated land that can be brought into production,” a portion of the post read.
Dumelo has thus urged the youth to consider going into agri-business assuring that Africa’s rising is rooted in the sector.
“Together with abundant resources, vibrant youth population and strategic investments, Africa can be the bread basket of the world. It’s time we the youth take charge and develop a passion for agriculture,” he said.
