Chief Executive Officer of Big Events Ghana, organizers of the annual Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Awards, Prince Mackay has added his voice to racial abuse of African diaspora largely Blacks living in America.
He described the recent death of African American George Floyd, who was killed on 25 May by a Minneapolis policeman as barbaric and should be condemned.
Mackay who is saddened by the racism and abuse meted out to African Americans advised Africans living in the diaspora to turn to their root [Africa].
“African Americans must recognise and appreciate the fact that Africa is their home and that they must constantly and consistently contribute to the development of Africa yearly, that will become the only way by which the White Americans will begin to respect African Americans.”
He stated that African Americans must recognise and appreciate the fact that Africa is their home.
“Until Black Americans begin to realise, appreciate, respect and contribute to the development of Africa and recognise Africa as their root and respect Africa, the whites will forever demean and marginalize African Americans and the Black Race in America.”
Mackay further advised African Americans and Black Race in America to massively contribute to the development of Africa which he believes will become the only way the Whites will begin to respect Blacks.
“White Americans know very well the contribution of the Black American race to the development of American, YET they do not want African Americans and the Black Race to know how precious they are to the development of America, hence the more they demean and abuse African Americans, the more the Black Race or the African Americans will be suppressed and devalued and their confidence suppressed.
“African Americans must begin to turn to their root, AFRICA, where they legitimately come from and contribute to building Africa as they have done to America. Only by doing this will the White Americans begin to realise they are gradually going to lose Africa Americans, then the White Americans will begin to appreciate and put an end to these abuses and Racism that is currently going on and on the rise.” Mackay added
He commended some notable Blacks Race who have helped to develop sectors of the economy of America and other foreign continents in sports, entertainment, science, technology and invention, medicine and health, law, military, among other sectors.
The event organizer added that White Americans know the contributions of the Black American race to the development of American, yet they refuse to commend the African Americans and the Black Race for the development of America.
He expressed disappointment in how the Whites constantly exploit and abuse Africans living in their country making them [Blacks] feel devalued.
Commenting on how the Whites would value and respect Blacks living in their countries, Mackay stated that Africans should return home to where legitimately come from and contribute to building Africa as they have done to America.
“The US is ranked as the most powerful country in the world. That ranking did not happen by accident. It is the rebellious spirit of our forefathers, African Americans, the ingenuity of great thinkers, inventors, business people, innovators and hard-working African Americans that helped make it America great
“Can you imagine African Americans in Sports, Entertainment, Politics, Education, Science, Technology, Innovation, Healthcare, Medicine, Law and so on and so forth, all deciding to return home to Africa, their root, to contribute their energies and skills to the development of Africa, what will become of the might of America? America would not be the same.
“These are our people, our blood brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, uncles, aunties, nieces and nephews who have contributed immensely to make America great today.
“Our blood brothers and sisters, fathers and mothers, need to turn their fronts and faces to Africa and come with one force and power to help build their very root, their umbilical cords.” Prince Mackay stated
Mackay strongly believes that the opportunities on offer back home are greater and should the number of people returning to Africa increases, African countries’ economy will shoot up immensely.
