After Hollywood stints, Abena Akuaba returns to promote her new singles

Abena Akuaba, the Miss Universe 2014 winner who represented Ghana at this year’s beauty pageant in Doral, Miami, Florida, is finally back home after a long time away.

The beauty queen, singer and now actress returned on the 25th of April, 2015, and was met by some section of the press at the Kotoka International Airport at around 7:03am.

During the media interaction, she first of all thanked Ghanaians for the massive support they gave her; she showered appreciation at her management team and the media for holding her down when she was out there doing what she loves doing best.

She added that she was happy to have represented her country at the pageant and though she didn’t make it into the Top 15, she will remain grateful to the organizers in the USA.

Back to what kept Ms. Abena out there for so long, she responded that she is now signed on to one of the world’s finest modeling agencies-John Casablanca, thus, opening different opportunities for her; and one of such doors it has opened is her involvement in her maiden Hollywood movie which she played the lead female character.

Aside that, there have been offers for her to engage in other endeavors which her management are in talks with the other parties.

The movie which she has featured in will be premiered in Ghana sometime in August 2015.

Abena will be focusing on her music promotion and other businesses during her stay in Ghana before she jets out to attend to other roles.
