Toronto-based new music management, Aim Nation Management Incorporation has revealed its first officially signed artiste, Highlife act, Quabena Maphia of ‘I go pay’ fame.

Penning a 3-year exclusive representative deal, worldwide, marking a milestone move with Aim Nation; Quabena Mafia, who single-handedly paved the success for Afro-beats and Highlife music in Canada and beyond is indeed worth the deal.
Described as an unstoppable artistic force, Quabena Maphia is noted for his great vocals which come with a crossover appeal to music lovers making him the bonafide leader among his peer musicians and songwriters.
According to the CEO of Aim Nation, Julius Ossom in a release, “there is no other artiste than Maphia that we see as an extraordinary representation of what African Music is and is yet to be in the 21st century.”
Adding, “Maphia’s abilities are raw, real, modern and pure from the continent. This here is a brotherhood, a partnership that the world music industry hasn’t seen since MJ and Motown, hence, Maphia being our first official artist is a monumental.”
The release further stated that Aim Nation is eager to bring to the ‘I go pay’ artiste’s artistic force to the next level.
Quabena Mafia, real name Nana Kwabena Poku Afriyie with his debut single, ‘I go pay’ garnered the ‘Highlife Song of the Year’ at the 2012 Vodafone Ghana Music Award.
He has since become a household name in the industry collaborating with many of Ghana’s finest musicians like AJ Nelson, Kesse, Sarkodie, Reggie Rockstone, and Ruff N Smooth, to mention a few.
Born and bred in the Ashanti region of Ghana, Quabena Maphia currently resides in Toronto, Canada.
He has songs like ‘Any Why’ featuring Blacko Blaze, ‘Cee Body’ produced by PeeWee, ‘Kwamina’ produced by Laxio, ‘Me ko Yankee’ produced by Slimbo, ‘Edientia’ featuring Asem, ‘This is Highlife’ featuring OJ Blaq, ‘Sure banker’, ‘Money’ featuring Okra Dawidi, etc. to his credit.
And has featured on Obumpa’s ‘Ode Kyeme’, Asem’s ‘Adole’, AJ Nelson’s ‘Same Girl’, Kakape’s ‘Lotto’, and Richie’s mass collaboration including Tinny, Lazzy (VIP), Eazzy, Ayigbe Edem, Zigi, Gyedu-Blay Ambolley, Okyeame Kwame, Jael Wiafe and Efya titled, ‘Yen Ara Asaase Ni’.
