Airtel Ghana and TRACE continues the exciting tour of major cities in the country to spread the euphoria and engage prospective participants of the biggest music talent search and competition through the Airtel TRACE Music Star “Train”.
The tour which coincides with this year’s Easter celebrations promises to be even more exciting with a mega beach party at the beautiful Allan beach in Takoradi on Easter Monday 28th March.
Speaking on the plans for the twin cities Sekond-Takoradi, Cornelius Kakrabah Head of Brands & Marketing Communications at Airtel Ghana said, “The Airtel Trace Music Train is storming the Oil City offering a once in a lifetime opportunity to discover the next biggest Ghanaian Artiste. We will be touring major centers in Sekondi on Friday and Saturday 25th and 26th March encouraging potential participants to call the Airtel short code 533, sing and stand the chance of being crowned Africa’s next superstar”.
He added “we lit up the party at the Artiste Night at the Legon Hall week celebration thrilling patrons with performances from some of the biggest acts in the country. The celebrations at Sekondi-Takoradi promises to be equally exciting and provides a platform to engage patrons on Africa’s biggest music talent search and competition”.
Now in its second season, the national winner for Airtel TRACE Music Star competition wins a whooping GHC 50,000 prize money and an all-expenses paid trip to Lagos for the Pan African finale. The competition also has music powerhouses Reggie Rockstone and Becca as the official judges.
Airtel Trace Music Star is a mobile phone based music competition which has simplified the otherwise tedious auditioning processes that typifies most music competitions.
All prospective participants need to do is to simply call the short code 533, record a song and stand the chance of winning a life changing contract with a record label, a mentorship programme with American singer-songwriter Keri Hilson in Atlanta and worldwide media exposure through various TRACE’s platforms.
