Akwaboah Jnr. has clarified that there is no truth to the claim that his pastor once urged him not to marry a woman with whom he shares a child.

Akwaboah, who tied the knot with his 28-year-old partner Theresa in May, addressed the speculation during an interview on The Delay Show on June 8, 2024.

He emphatically stated that the allegation was false, asserting his independence in choosing his partner.

"At my age and with my experience, must someone force a lady on me?" he retorted, recounting how he met his wife. "He [the pastor] didn’t introduce her to me. She’s my pastor’s secretary, so whenever I want to see my pastor, I’ll go through her. And I noticed I liked her, I proposed to her, and we’re where we are."

Regarding the claim that his pastor intervened in his personal affairs, Akwaboah clarified, "So, the claims that our pastor forced her on me are untrue. He never asked me to quit my relationship with my baby mama."

He went on to reveal that his wife is "a midwife by profession."

Akwaboah, a member of Prophet Amoako Atta’s Lord’s Parliament Chapel, explained that he parted ways with his previous partners due to irreconcilable differences.

"She was pregnant, we separated, and I decided to take care of my son," he explained. "A lot happened before we separated, but I wouldn’t go into it. I took my son when he was a year old, and he’s now ten years old."

He further disclosed his parental responsibilities, stating, "I have two kids with two women. The second born is five years old; the child is in the UK with the mother, and I take care of that child as well."
