Alabaster Box To Entertain At Annual Bethany Prairie Picnic

"Alabaster Box," an internationally renowned gospel acappella quartet from Accra, Ghana, West Africa, will be touring the United States for their first time throughout the summer of 2005.

Alabaster Box has performed on such venues as the Peoples Parade in Brisbane, Australia, and for her Majesty the Queen of England at Westminster Abby.

"Alabaster Box" is coming to the Bethany Prairie Community Picnic in rural Wimbledon, on Sunday, May 29.

The Bethany Prairie Community Picnic is an annual event, with worship, games, food, and live music for the entire family, held at the Dick Grotberg farm. Worship is at 10:30 a.m. and food is served from noon to 7 p.m.

A sing along and bon fire is planned in the evening beginning at 8 p.m.

A free will offering will be accepted. For more information call Linda at (701) 435-2333.

On Tuesday, May 31, "Alabaster Box" will present a concert at the First Baptist Church, 401 Forest Street, in Lisbon, at 7 p.m. The public is invited. A free will offering will be taken.
