This album is the most complete hiplife album I have laid hands on. It has something for everyone.
The album opens with the track 'Asesa' which discusses life and has advice for the youth of today who think it's all sweetness in life.
'Madamfo PaBeko', which is one of my favourite tracks on the album is next. This song employed the smooth voice of Nanaba T, coupled with good instrumentation and guitars. The current hottest hiplife track of the moment, 'Aketesea' follows. This track is a clever adaptation of a 'jama' song, very popular amongst the student populace. 'Aketesea' has stood out as the biggest tune on the album, giving Daddy Lumba's 'Poison' , a good run for his money on the Ghanaian music charts. One of my other favourites on the album is 'Adjoa', which is a good danceable track. Other tracks follow, 'Wo ba ada anaa?', which sampled the ever popular 'vis a vis' by Meiway, a guitar & vocal mix of 'Madamfo Pa Beko', 'Seniwa' and 'Effeh' and the album closes with instrumental versions of 'Asesa' and Madamfo Pa Beko'.
This is definitely one of the best, if not the best, hiplife productions ever. With very good and clever lyrics and arrangement from 'man of the moment' KONTIHENE and very good production from Morris this album goes a long way to prove that hiplife music still has a future. With productions like these, I wouldn't be surprised if hiplife hits it big time on the international circles soon!
