All hail the youngest Ghanaian group – The Americanos

My heart was gladden when Kevin and Jeffero, two determined young up and coming artistes gave me a phone call that they wanted to part of the hiplife movement.



Kevito or Super Kevito (Kevin Sakyi Bempah), 14 years and Jeffro( Jeffrey Boakye Yiadom), 14 years, collectively known  as The Americanos have promised Ghanaian music fans that they will be creating a new musical phenomenon that will carve a unique niche in the music industry.



Stationed in the United States of America, The Americanos dares to be different but anyone who witnesses these boys and listened to their few demos  will agree that these kids really know how to get the attention of music lovers



Even though they are very young, The Americanos does it their way, with clean lyrics, age-appropriate content and good old- fashioned charm. To Add to this, the boys’ got some good looks.



For now, The Americanos are planning visit Mother Ghana soon to get their works executed well by the best song engineers in Ghana and a few artistes to guest on the album.

Ghana Music.com: Tell me about yourselves individually?


Kevito: Well my name is Kevin Sakyi Bempah aka Kevito or (Super Kevito) and I was born in July 20, 1993 in Virginia, USA to Mr. & Mrs. Bempa and I am 14 years old and I’m in the 9th grade, what I like doing best is listening and make music on my keyboard .



Jeffro: And my name is Jeffrey Boakye Yiadom (Jeffro) I was born June 16, 1993 in Washington, D.C., I am also 14 in the 9th grade, I was born wealthy rich. I am a great basketball player and a good lyrics writer, look out for me because I am coming soon, so watch out. You will love my songs like Joloff and Chicken, lol.



Ghana Music.com: What’s surprises are you guys bringing?

The Americanos: Well, eventually there is going to be alot of surprises that we are going to bring up.



Ghana  Music.com: Why is one doing rap in Twi and the other in English?


The Americanos:  Jeffro will be singing in Twi and English but some on the tracks will be only me (Kevito) singing. Some of the tracks, we will feature of some of the rappers.



Ghana Music.com: How many songs are you guys gonna put on the album?


The Americanos: At least 15 tracks.



Ghana Music.com: What engineers will you be working with?

The Americanos: Appietus, Hammer, Jay Q, Morris Babyface, RoRo and Sugatone.



Ghana Music.com: Why did you join the musical train?


The Americanos:  We joined it because we into rapping. 



Ghana Music.com: Tell me after you drop your album, why should I go and buy one?


The Americanos: Because it has great and interesting songs on the album.

The Americanos:  We want to leave behind our words we said in the album.
