Ghanaian movie director, Kofi Asamoah, also known as KOFAS has asked Ghanaians to try as much as possible to reach out to Funny Face and lend him some support.
He said from all indications, the comedian is battling serious mental issues that if ignored will be disastrous.
Funny Face recently launched a series of attacks on Bismark the Joke, Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin, and Kalybos for allegedly peddling falsehood about him.
Lil Win, for instance, seems to be the main “villain” in the controversy as he has again been accused by Funny Face for being the reason his wife fled home with his twins.
Funny Face, as a result, is always seen on social media even at odd times, posting videos of himself crying and raining curses and insults on these people for wanting to destroy his life.
But KOFAS reacting to the issue thinks Funny Face needs psychological help.
According to Kofi Asamoah, the fact that the comedian himself at a point admitted to going through emotional trauma should not be taken for granted.
“One thing that I want us as Ghanaians to take note is that Funny face has a problem. In our part of the world, we don’t take mental health seriously. Even when we are talking about mental health people think it’s all about total madness. In other parts of the world, this is a serious issue. Funny face himself publicly expressed that he is going through emotional trauma and yet we have ignored it,” he said on Neat FM's Entertainment GH hosted by Ola Michael.
Kofi Asamoah added, people should desist from being excited with the buzz he is creating and rather focus on the fact that he needs mental help.
“People don’t care about whichever problem he is facing. All they are happy about is the fact that he is always dropping names of people and talking about them. The man needs help,” he stated.
