Zadi is the stage name of Rashid Yamin, a Ghanaian rapper, Afrobeat musician and a producer of songs such as 'Goat', hallucinate, No love, among others.

He has produced artists like Micky Holix (show yourself), StarT money shaker and OTG (Ghana Most Blunted EP) and many others.

He was born and raised in Lapaz by his parents, Yamin Bashir and Mabel Amenu.

He studied in ST. John’s school earning Wascce certificate and continued his tertiary at the Ghana Telecom university college and gained a degree in IT.

Zadi at a young age was inspired by artists such as Lil Wayne, T-pain, J.cole, Ludacris, Drake, Kendrick Lamar.

He decided to make music in the year 2012 in high school, where he recorded his first studio production at Danny beats.

Made name for himself performing at the national theater, a show called “rekognized” in the year 2012, Where everyone was astonished by his outstanding excellent performance.

He started music professionally in the year 2016, associated himself with Ghana’s music duo DopeNation, where he decided to learn production.
