Ghanaian Rapper Elom Adablah affectionately called EL has stated that he is focused on churning out hit after hits songs than receiving plaques.

The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Artiste of the year has received backlash from a section of the public for not receiving international nominations after picking his award.

But speaking on Ultimate E-Review hosted by Naa Klordey Odonkor, the award-winning artiste explained that he is concentrating on making songs that will be talk of town than receiving placards and be lost in the system.

According o him, he always wants to be on the quite when he receives nominations and that churning out quality music that will pass the test of time is his target.

‘People talk about things they don’t know, I got three nominations for All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) which is happening in Lagos in November or so, I have three nominations for Ghana Music Awards UK, happening in November 5, 2016 which I am attending, so it’s not like am…

The thing is we don’t like making noise with these things, this is not why we make the music, you know these things will come and go, its fleeting, there will come a time when I will not be nominated for anything at all, ever, but I will still make music, if you get what I mean, I will never stop making music, I will never lose the ability to make music, so that is more gratifying to me than plaques, you know,’ he explained.

The ‘Koko’ hitmaker who has released his Bar 3 Album said the album is doing very well and people are already in love with it.

EL who is on a campus musical tour will this evening be shaking the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) campus in the Ashanti Region.

He envisaged to touch base with his fans in all the regions before the year ends, saying he will be performing songs back to back for two hours tonight.

He encouraged his fans to come all out to have fun, saying the evening will be great.

‘I am performing on TECH campus tonight, hopefully it will be a great evening, last weekend I was in Cape Coast and it was amazing, I know Kumasi people party harder than Cape Coast so I am keeping my fingers crossed. I will be in University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Legon on October 1, 2016 and Sunyani on October 8. These are the places we have now but we are planning Tamale and Takoradi as well. I will be on the stage for long, I hope the fans give me the energy to perform all my songs till date, it’s going to be a beautiful night,’ he said.
