Actress Ama K. Abebrese has extended an appreciative word to the Ghana Police Service for their commitment to work and professionalism after her experience as a detective in the soon-to-be-released thriller movie titled 'The Storm'.
During a press launch on September 16, 2024, the award-winning actress shared thoughts about how playing the role of a detective opened her eyes to the professionalism within the Ghana Police Service.
"I played a detective. I am a detective who believes in the good of people. Before I got into this role, I was one of the people who sometimes fell for what you hear about the Ghana police. But in my research, I found out that the Ghana police is very able, they do have some of the most astute detective police personnel," she said.
'The Storm' will hopefully manifest her strides to unravel a thrilling mystery, adding to her feats already in the archives of acting.
The movie will premiere at Silverbird Cinemas on 21st September 2024. It promises an intense, suspense-filled storyline.
Aside from Ama K. Abebrese, the movie features Adjetey Anang, Fiifi Coleman, Luckie Lawson, Salma Mumin, Edward Kufuor, Kofi Adjorlolor, Jeffrey Nortey, Ken Fiati, Oscar Provencal, Edinam Atatsi, among others.
"I feel so blessed to be in a film with so many legends," said Ama K. Abebrese.
