The annual MUSIGA Grand Ball organised by the Musicians Union of Ghana comes off this Friday, November 4 at the Banquet Hall, State House in Accra.
Renowned Ghanaian musicians expected to entertain patrons at the fourth edition of the event are Amakye Dede, Mzbel, No Tribe, JA Adofo, Wiyaala, Samini, Becca and comedian DKB.
This year’s concert according to organisers is to promote a peaceful election through music, dinning and dancing hence the title, “Grand Ball 16, Peace and Dance edition”.
Funds will also be raised at the event to help sustain the Ageing Musicians Welfare Funds, which supports musicians aged sixty, and above and musicians who are bereaved or incapacitated.
The 2016 MUSIGA Grand Ball we are told is under the distinguish patronage of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, Ex-president John Agyekum Kufour, chairman of the national peace council, Most Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Asante and many others.
