Amakye Dede & Azumah To Be Honoured

Abrantie Amakye Dede Popular highlife musician, Abrantie Amekye Dede and Boxing Legend, Professor Azumah Nelson are to be honoured as the SPACEFON LEGENDS 2004 at a ceremony which takes place on 4th of September in Accra.

The SPACEFON LEGEND night which started last year seeks to focus on, and promote an accomplished living Ghanaian musician or sport personality.

The Spacefon Legend Nite will comprise a documentary film profiling the life, times and a series of high profile events to celebrate the achievements of the personalities chosen.

A ceremony was held over the weekend at which the selection of the two personalities was announced. The annual legend night, which is sponsored by the SCANCOM Ghana Limited, operators of SPACEFON, is part of the company?s social responsibilities.

Abrantie Amekye Dede in an interview with HAPPY FM expressed delight of been selected for the award. Professor Azumah Nelson on his part urged the youth to concentrate on their studies if they want to achieve success in the future.
