Amakye Dede’s manager to be buried this saturday

Isaac Yeboah, manager of Abrantie Amakye Dede who died in a motor accident on January 1, will be buried this Saturday, January 30 at his hometown Mbrofroma Akinim near Elmina in the Central Region.

Isaac Yeboah was involved in a fatal road accident with highlife music legend, Amakye Dede and his bodyguard, Prince Mensah, at the Bunso Junction near Nsutam in the Eastern Region where they had gone to perform at the Paradise Rest Stop during the New Year in the late hours on Friday, January 1, 2016.

He left behind two children.

The family will keep wake on Friday, January 29 at the Abrantie Spot, followed by a burial service on Saturday morning after which the body will be sent to his hometown for burial.

The funeral ceremony is expected to attract a large number of people from all walks of life, including media practitioners, musicians, movie stars and friends of Abrantie Amakye Dede.

A number of Ghanaian musicians like Nana Kwame Ampadu, Kofi B, Oheneba Kissi, Kojo Ampah, among others, will perform at the funeral ceremony.

Isaac Yeboah until his untimely death was the managing editor of the People & Places (P&P) newspaper and a panel member of Peace FM’s entertainment review programme.

While Isaac Yeboah died on the spot, his bodyguard who sustained injuries was admitted at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra and later discharged.

Amakye Dede was also admitted at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, where he underwent series of medical treatment. Two weeks celebration of Isaac’s death came off over the weekend at Lapaz, Abrantie Spot.

The celebration brought together entertainment industry players and celebrities.
