Amber Rose certainly had her wish to host the Vodafone 020 Live Concert dressed in African clothes come true on Tuesday night as she stunned the crowd with several creations from Ghanaian and African fashion designers one after the other.
The model, video vixen and growing entrepreneur posted on Twitter that Ghanaian/African designers interested in dressing her on the big night should get in touch with her ahead of the concert, and it seems that designers like KNAF Couture and Nonterah heeded to the call. From glam to punk rock, these designers left an African mark in their stylings for Amber and she rocked in style!
Ben Nonterah’s labels, NONTERAH, are handmade, ensuring that no two items of clothing is the same. All the garments are made using a mix of local and other natural fabrics, African motifs such as Ashanti adinkra symbols and accessories, Nonterah creates his designs to stand out as well as be stylish and wearable anywhere in the world. His designs therefore reflect the brands by-line of being African and yet globally urban. Kayda Nana Afriyie Frimpong of KNAF Couture creates highly stylish, custom-made and original clothes designed to accentuate the female figure, compliment the male build and make you look twice.
