Legendary Ghanaian musician, Gyedu-Blay Ambolley has accused former President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Alhaji Sidiku Buari of being a “senior mafia” of the union.

The ‘Simi Rapp’ hitmaker claimed that Alhaji Buari is one o the leading persons behind the orchestrations at MUSIGA.

He told MzGee in an interview on 3FM’s Showbiz 927 that his failed presidential aspiration of the union is as a result of the multiple ‘mafiarism’ at MUSIGA.

” It wasn’t that the people didn’t buy into my idea to become MUSIGA President. Its because of the mafias at the union. There’s a lot of mafiarism going on there. They were actually afraid of me and that I’ll expose all the malpractices that goes on in there.” He asserted

Asked who the mafias of the union are, Mr Ambolley categorically stated: ” Sidiku Buari is one of the mafias there. He’s a senior mafia of the union. He engineered for Diana Hopeson to be President. How can a Diana Hopeson be president of MUSIGA?” He quizzed

The experienced Highlife musician further alleged that these same mafias skewed for the immediate past president of MUSIGA, Bice Osei Kuffuor widely known as Obour to win the presidency of the union in order to cover up their malpractices.
