Angel Asiamah, husband of evangelist Patricia Asiedu Asiamah, made a solo appearance at Heaven Way Champion International Ministry on March 8, 2026, in what many had anticipated would be his wife’s first return to church following her release from prison.
GhanaWeb’s cameras captured Angel Asiamah arriving at the church while worship was already in progress.
Congregants were engaged in singing, praying, and glorifying the Lord when he entered. The individual leading the worship warmly acknowledged his arrival, prompting a round of loud cheers from the congregation.
Despite expectations that Patricia Asiamah, also known as Nana Agradaa, the founder of the ministry and former traditional priestess turned evangelist, might attend, Angel Asiamah disclosed that his wife’s first appearance at the church would be delayed.

He hinted that Agradaa may make her return to Heaven Way Champion International Ministry on March 29, 2026.
Nana Agradaa was released from prison on March 3, 2026, after serving nine months, two-thirds of her revised one-year custodial sentence, in line with Ghana’s standard remission regulations.
She was handed a 15-year sentence on July 3, 2025, following her conviction by an Accra Circuit Court on multiple charges, including defrauding by false pretence and charlatanic advertisement.
The charges were linked to her promotion of a so-called money-doubling scheme during service at her ministry in Weija, Greater Accra Region.
Her sentence was later reduced to one year, enabling her early release.
