Gospel artiste Joyce Blessing, disclosed that she never received any call from Anita Afriyie after her involvement in a gory accident few days ago.
Blessing speaking on Abusua Mmre3 on Abusua 96.5 FM hosted by Nana Hemaa said though several musicians both male and female visited her at the hospital with others reaching her through phone calls, Anita Afriyie didn’t bother to check on her.
”In fact the accident was scary and I should have even died at the spot considering the nature of it but thank God I survived” Blessing said.
She continued ”I am grateful and thankful to all the musicians who checked on me, the likes of Elder Mireku, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, SP Kofi Sarpong, Ohemaa Mercy, Tagoe Sisters, Patience Nyarko etc it’s through their prayers and support that has made my recovery so easy and fast”.
”One person who surprised me most was Sonnie Badu who kept calling me day in day out to check on me despite not being in the country and i am really grateful to him for his kind gesture”.
Asked whether she received a call from Anita Afriyie who claimed her accident was just a publicity stunt staged for hype said ”No no she didn’t call me but that isn’t necessary if you ask me I knew definitely you people were going to ask me but i don’t think it is necessary for us to discuss that’’. I don’t want us to be discussing Anita Afriyie because I do not have any problem with her and I have never thought about having one with her”
”Throughout my music career I have never had problem with any musician maybe they have problems with” Joyce Blessing concluded.
The popular Ghanaian gospel singer was involved in a serious accident on Christmas day while on the way to a performance in Kwahu that left her in critical condition.
