Ernest Opoku has described his colleague, Anita Afriyie as a hypocrite for performing at the ‘Adonko Bash’; a show to promote Adonko bitters on Easter Monday at the Kumasi Sports Stadium.
Ernest who will be celebrating fifteen years in the gospel industry said Anita should never have had performed on the stage that day to promote drinking of alcohol among the youth and people of Ghana because the bible frowns on it.
“Money shouldn’t lead us to do what the Bible hates. Anita Afriyie could have preached the word of God to patrons of the show. Money shouldn’t have been her priority. That was hypocrisy at its peak,” he said.
He indicated that as Gospel artistes, they all have a part to play to propagate the word of God to the world adding that “I will never perform at a show of this calibre! I totally disagree with her performance at the Adonko Show”.
