Daddy Lumba's look-alike has been sued for Impersonation
Veteran highlife artiste, Charles Kwadwo Fosu known in showbiz as Daddy Lumba’s lawsuit against Kwame Anokye also known in music circles as Daddy Lumba Jnr. for impersonating his brand is still pending.
DL Junior after the lawsuit at the Accra High Court rebranded to Anokye Supremo.
However, Anokye Supremo in a viral video was seen pleading with the Founder and Leader of the International Godsway Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim to intervene on his behalf in the spiritual realm.
Supremo who professed to the congregation to have taken inspiration from the celebrated highlife artiste said he is ben accused of impersonating his look-alike father and received gifts from people.
According to Daddy Lumba look-alike, as stated in the lawsuit, he is requested to give account for all Daddy Lumba songs he has performed since 2010 till date.
Amokye Supremo told Obinim he would be glad if the court case can be averted or dropped.
“I believe in you very well daddy, I dreamt that I saw you in my dream and you told me you would help so I should go buy an egg” he told the prophet.
“Daddy Lumba who I look up to has sued me for singing his songs and he said because of me he’s losing his customers. I want you to help not to stand in court with Daddy Lumba and also seek victory over the issue” he stressed.
