With one of the popular highlife artiste originating from their family, the same parents off-springs and popular high and hip life duo, with the household name Antwi ne Antwi, has done it again with their sixth album titled EWIEM under Richgold Media Productions.

As explained to this reporter, the famous artistes disclosed that they are targeting the sky as the limit with the latest album title in mind.  The two began their music career way back in 1991, taking them through ten years to come out with their debut album in 2001 with “Dwene woho”.

During the ten years of struggle to release maiden album, Antwi ne Antwi stated that their families were opposing the move which cost them a lot in endeavors.

With six albums to their credit in the music industry and with inspirations from the ever controversial highlife musician of ages, Daddy Lumba, the duo had a question mark to answer.

After the release of their second album and others appearing with titles- Sekina, Eye De- which had the hit track Uncle Ebo, Aku Sika and Congo Soldier, they separated and this is how they answered to close the question mark.

“In a one and half years of silence, we worked on going solo which, I, Antwi the eldest began promoting my solo album with reasons best known to us alone, until our former producer, mum and fans called on us to come together again and work hand in hand as a duo since know one seemed to back the idea of the two singing solo”.

Music with the artistes is described re-incarnated as Papa Yaw Johnson who sang “fa wo ntoma bebo medee ano” happens to be their father. With this current album, the group declared that they are expecting much than their ever popular hit ‘UNCLE EBO”.

The musicians explained to the paper the rudiments and how they work assiduously for better tunes irrespective of the time and place.

They extend gratitude to their first producer, Asante Berko a.k.a Asberk, for his good works and urged all fans and music lovers to patronize and feel the magic in this current album.
