Celebrated Ghanaian dancer Laud Anoo Konadu, also known as Dancegod Lloyd, has claimed that all the current dancers making waves in the country have passed through his mentorship.
Speaking as a guest on Channel One TV’s The Chat, Dancegod Lloyd expressed that helping to launch the careers of up-and-coming dancers is his proudest accomplishment.
He cited names such as Alo Danny, Sugar, and Latifa as a few of the many dancers he has mentored.
“Putting people on. Like, a lot of people, a lot. Any new dancer that you've seen has passed through me," he said.
As a co-founder of the Dance With Purpose Academy (DWPA), Dancegod Lloyd is now set to launch a new dance school named Dance, Grow, and Live (DGL).
Along with his new team, he has initiated several dance challenges, including Kidi’s ‘Lomo Lomo’ and King Promise’s ‘Terminator’ songs, and has performed at various events.
