Many people anticipate aspiring MUSIGA president, Appietus, would have supported high-life legend, Gyedu Blay Ambulley's threat to place court injunction on the upcoming MUSIGA elections.
Surprisingly, the multiple award winning sound engineer, Appiah Dankwah popularly known as Appietus, has rather cautioned Ambulley not to place the injunction because it would end up favouring Obour.
Appietus told Dr. Who, host of Hot and Classic Showbiz review on Hot fm:
"There is something called conflict of interest. Obour is currently the president. So if you will wait for him to bring you the list, you will bring it last minute. So Ambulley shouldn't wait. I'm not waiting for Obour. I started meeting the executives months ago. So I told them what I want to do when elected which i know they will vote for me," Appietus said.
"My main concern is...imagine Ambulley places the injunction for 3 months, who is still the president? Obour...then you've extended his mandate then he will keep doing his "azaa" antics.
So we should be careful with the balance because he hasn't done anything for the people. He will lose. We shouldn't be afraid of Obour. When he gives the people money they would collect it without voting for him. He should be afraid," Appietus added
Ambulley threatened to place a court injunction on the upcoming MUSIGA elections citing his reason as to enable him get the list of the delegates eligible to vote in the elections to prevent over-voting.
